But you won’t have time to wonder for very long, because you’ll notice a funny stain on the carpet that looks a lot like pee…..and as you walk over to do a closer inspection, the overturned trash can in the kitchen will catch your eye. So you’ll head over clean up that mess, but, just as you bend down to start picking up shredded paper towels (from this morning when you cooked breakfast and used them to catch the bacon drippings…), you’ll hear your 8 year-old in the yard, screaming, and, when you look out the kitchen window, you’ll see your dog gleefully racing around the yard with a mitten in his mouth, being chased by your screaming child.
And you’ll think: ”I didn’t sign up for this!”
I understand, and weirdly enough, I already know you! Because so many of my puppy students started out AS you: overwhelmed, overtired, and over-stressed with all the things they didn’t know how to do (or that they NEEDED to do) with their new puppy.
But they had ME and my system, so their story had a happy ending. And yours will, too, because it’s not too late!
